Leng-nui Peacock din come to work for 2 days already. I sit at my place alone without chit chating with anyone. Actually I am boring. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better as she comes back to work tomorrow.

“Can we discuss daily report now?”

“Do you have anything to add in the daily report?”

After 15 minutes…

“I will send the daily report lol. I want to go back home jor.”

I sent my daily report without discuss with him. I logoff my PC and went back home. Time was 10pm!

I think I should change Ku-Ming Ox name to something else. I feel that I start to disagree on what he is doing now. You think you need to stay late and I also need to follow you ma? No way. I have to walk to LRT at night but you drive.

“I want to know what you will do next ?” I asked HP just now.

HP told me that there are someone who said she was playing with fire. What I mean here on playing with fire is playing relationship with one guy who has girl friend. Basically, for my opinion, I did not see any big deal on that as they are just having breakfast together everyday. I am ok with that.

Why friends cannot meet up for breakfast everyday ? Is there anything wrong? I don’t see it actually.

“Wah.. pinky rose.. so lovely.. and a pack of tomato cherries which is my favourite… Sure is HP…” I asked SS. SS said tomato cherries were from HP but Pinky rose was from TL.

TL asked HP to buy each of us a pinky rose.. Sometime, he is quite lovely la.. He treats his gf good too..

I hope I do not depend on him so much on India project. I must learn to be independent and engage with developers by my own. I hope one day I can be the test senior la… Hmm… but I guess will not in this company la..

“I need to throw resignation letter already.” HP told us during our tea break today. 

“Oh.. really ar? Good for you.” I told her.

But I feel sad HP is leaving us. I just join here for 2 months and HP is one of the colleagues who can close with me. I believe she is leaving for good. I hope she has a good career path in future too.

HP still has three month service in this company. I hope we can enjoy the remaining days in this office.

I received an email from my manager. Below was the content.

I wonder why she sent me this kind of emails? She receives any bad comments about me? Any way, I already tried my very best to do my job. I followed up my job. I write summary report daily. I have done a good job I can say.

One of my team mates was being terminated with 24 hours notice. I knew the reason of her termination during our team meeting on last week.

May be due to the tight project schedule, she felt tired to work everyday till late night. She is married and got daughters and sons. She also needs rest and times with family. So, she called in for MC one day. But, she did not go to see doctor. She made a fake MC slip and passed to our manager.

Our manager did some investigation and found the truth. My team mate has serious discipline problem. So, she was being terminated within 24 hours.

Lesson learnt : Don’t do such stupid thing. Need to have MC slips go to see doctor to get MC. You can say you have gastric or headache. Hehehe…

Now is 9pm, I have already worried on tomorrow’s jobs. Tomorrow I need to run MF01 as requested by PM. I also need to do the TC and recheck some of the data to make sure that 10 of the data are correct.

Doing comparison of data is quite tedious for me. But I am ok with it. I can do it slowly. Just that I am now handling my India project by myself. I do not know what to test and what to ask the developer if I encounter errors.

TL is so busy on his own project and no helps from him.

“Want to have lunch together today? Meet you at Yu Mee stall.”

“Ok ar. What time then?”

“I will go to office to fetch TL. TL will join us too. See you there around 12pm.”

 TL? I thought I can only have lunch with HP. I was not really keen to see TL on non working days. I cannot reject this lunch date. I think I should consider this one as colleagues’ entertainment.

They were late for the lunch date as TL needed to finish some of his works before he can join us. He worked on Saturday as well as Sunday from 9am to 9pm. Sometimes, I feel pity on him too. Sigh…

I did not go back to work on Saturday and Sunday. Shall I feel guilty? or am I lazy? I need work and life balance le…

“TL, PM asked whether I can run MF01 on Monday, but MF01 is on CCS files. Just to check with you those files that you stated at the FS documents have been received right?”

“Those are ST files. You know that right? You did it everyday and now you are asking me?”

“Those files that I received I remember that. But these are CCS files?”

“Arhh.. I come and show you.”

TL came over to my place and I show him those files that need for MF01. And he realised that he was the one who received those files. Sigh..

I know that he is frustrated and I do not like the way he talked to me just now. Yeah, I know he is stressful as he managed 2 projects. Actually I also feel stress as I am new and I do not know clearly what I surpose to do in my project. I saw him so busy on projects and I do not dare to disturb him too to ask him more on what the next things that I need to do.
