Cheap Dinner in Bangkok

Posted by admin

We went for a dinner nearby the hotel that we stayed during my trip to Bangkok. We saw quite a number of Thai people eating their dinner there. We thought of trying their local food in those stalls near the roadside rather than having it at restaurant.

See what we ordered.. We had tomyam khong, fried eggs with oyster, pork with vege and etc. Trust me, it was definitely a cheap and delicious dinner for me in Bangkok. Guess what ? Only 650 baht. Where you can find this in Malaysia?

I spent a lot on food recently. My colleagues like to go out to have lunch. Not only that they like to have expensive food. Normally we will go to restaurant for lunch. So, roughly I need to spend about RM10 for lunch daily.

Recently, there are also a lot of farewells lunch for my colleague. Yesterday, I had spent RM17 for lunch. Today, we will go for Thai food at SS2. Another restaurant which is expensive.

Sigh… I shouldn’t waste money as now the economic not good. Earning money is very difficult.

Bak Ku Teh at Sg Way

If you ask people where to have good Bak Ku Teh at Petaling Jaya. I believe most of the people will tell you to go Ah San Bak Ku Teh at Sg Way.

This afternoon, my colleagues and I went to have Bak Ku Teh at Sg Way. But the place is not Ah San. It is located at a housing area. Surprisingly, there were a lot of people when we arrived there.

Here’s the Bak Ku Teh that served by them.

Bak Ku Teh at Sg Way

For me, I still like Ah San Bak Ku Teh. For this one, the pork are very fat. I feel quite geli to eat them. But if you like this kind of fatty pork, you can go to this stall.

Almost every week, we will go to this stall for Loh Pan Mee. Where is this? It is at Seapark, Paramount Garden. Their Loh Pan Mee is the famous one. Normally, I will order mixed Loh Pan Mee. This means the noodles blanded with carrot and spinanch together. Actually, it is a nice and healthy food to have. Besides that, they also have other variety for selection.
